She couldn't be THAT much longer, could she? He never staked her out to be one of those 'girly girls' who took hours to get ready, but apparently, he hadn't lost his touch in his inability to perceive girls correctly.
Just as he was about to get up to find that pizza place, he saw her in the distance coming toward him. "It's the same time as London ... It's actually just whenever you're not working, time moves faster." Or some logic like that. Time moves fast when you're having fun? Shrugging it off, he nodded. "No matter though. You're here now. And I'm still starved. I think we should check out authentic Italian pizza first ... I saw a place on my way from the hotel. But after that, well, how do you feel about art?" He liked art; but somehow he had a distinct feeling she wasn't going to appreciate it the way he did. For a moment she thought he might have started getting testy at the fact that she was late. For some reason a lot of people seemed to think highly of time. Why? She had no idea. It was just another figured on the clock. The thought vanished when he brought up food. Good to know he was thinking straight. "Great!" There was no way she could say no to Pizza in Italy! "I guess you can lead the way then." Unless he wanted to get lost. Though getting lost didn't sound so bad...it would give them something to do...
She had to fight to keep the nicer expressions on her face at the mention of Art.
Art? How did she feel about it? It had to be one of the most boring things in life. Ugh, she could remember all those mother-daughter outings to the Art Galleries and famous Art Shows. Complete. Torture. Buuuut, he must obviously like it if he asked so..."It's quite...quite interesting.." He was meant to enjoy his stay here too and besides, she could always pretend that the Art was amazing, she'd been doing that all her life! "We can check out some of the Art Galleries after we've eaten if you want."
