An excuse, yes it was a bad excuse, what did he do spoil that princess so bad it gave her a big head, made her think she was a gift to the world and everyone should kiss her stupid feet. "Well that's not good if he isn't nice." she tried to be civil about it. Minerva then really really fought not to roll her eyes as he kept going, "Maybe she is, or maybe she hates me so she is making my life miserable." yes, she would take the second part of that as true. Seeing his smile she couldn't help but smile, if he was happy that was great, but this girl better not hurt her friend. She was not very nice when her friends were hurt. "Well I'm glad your happy, that's all that matters."
Maxwell sighed. "Yeah, i hope so...thanks, min." He said itching the back of his neck.
He knew she was holding herself back and he appreciated it. "No...he's awful...I wish she didn't have to go back there..." He said referring to her father's house. "Min...if you look for the worst in someone that's all you'll find...do you want me to ask her to back off?" He asked trying to be a good friend, doing something selfless, maybe that would make up for hurting her. "Thanks....I really am happy, and i hope you find someone that makes you happier than i did...you deserve it." He said with a soft smile at her.
