"If I ever talk to them again it will be to soon." she had no desire to go back to that house ever. She was happy in her muggle home with her grandparents.
Minerva frowned, she knew she didn't make him happy. "Maxwell, I want you to be able to talk to me, and I am trying with Elliot, but we didn't get off on the right foot. Her hatred for my house doesn't help either and the fact that every time I feel like I have a place to talk to Ethan, she shows up and it's ruined." she frowned, "I know you said she has a friend that likes him, so it just makes it that much worse. I am trying though, for you I am." she really was going to put the most effort she could. "Well I'm glad she does have a softer side with you, she should. You are a great guy." and that wasn't a lie. Minerva knew Maxwell was a good guy and deserved someone better then Elliot, but she wouldn't say that.
Maxwell nodded. "I know and i remember...But everyone thinks i'm just crazy and i kinda can't help it...I mean i think it's getting better. But who knows I've always been a bit angry." He said with a small laugh.
"I know...and i get that...please, just know that it isn't her fault. She wasn't raised right...her father isn't a good man, I know it's an excuse but it's a good one i promise." He said knowing what he knew. "I know you're mad about the whole Ethan thing but maybe she's just being a good friend.." He said with a shrug. "She really does have a softer side with me and she's so sweet and gentle....i know it sounds crazy..but she makes me happy.." he said with a grin, extremely different from the one he always had with Minerva herself.
