Minerva smiled, what did she just get herself into, listening to him talk about Elliot would be like pulling out teeth without Novocaine, but to help their friendship she would push through and deal with it. Yes she could hear about the dumb girl all the time, as long as they didn't have to be nice in person. Yes, she could handle that. "Ok.. ok, so the stupid princess has a soft side, I get it." that came out the wrong way and Minerva quickly frowned, "Sorry.. I'm trying, but it's going to take sometime." she offered hoping not to make him to mad. "Oh no..no, it's Ok, if he laughs, he laughs, I'll be fine, I'm a big girl. It will be better just to know if he likes me or not, so then I can move on if he doesn't." This constant nerves, blushing, and possible flirting was starting to drive her a bit crazy. She had to just say she liked him.
Maxwell nodded a little. "Yeah, thanks Min...I'm not sure how i made it through the summer without you...everyone kept telling me to calm down and not to be angry but they don't know how i felt..." He said knowing if anyone got it, it was her.
Maxwell wasn't angry at her words he was just...hurt, and it showed. Here he was trying to be real and open with her like a real friend and here she was bad mouthing the girl he wanted to talk about, the girl he was with to his face. "Yeah....She does.." He said very softly. "No, i get it...I do." He did, he deeply hated every boy Minerva like because they weren't him...he knew it was dumb but he couldn't help it, just seeing them bothered him sometimes. "I know you're a big girl...but you're still my friend and i won't let you disrespect you by laughing at you."
