The slightly amused expression slowly faded into a scowl at the girl's next words. Ethan narrowed his eyes as he leveled his gaze. "And you feel the need to threaten me as well? I'll tell you the same thing I told your boyfriend.. I don't answer to you. I will do what I want when I want." Did she really think she was that intimidating to him? He was certainly no frightened first year. No, the boy did not take too kindly to threats. And he was fairly sure what Maxwell's motives for tossing a few in his direction.. but Elliot's? That was a different story.. and he had a feeling he knew what it was - Cora was as fragile and inexperienced as he thought.

"Mess with her.." he repeated. "It's one date, not a marriage proposal." What was with everyone here? They all seemed to want to rush into the boyfriend/girlfriend thing. He was 15 not 50.. what was wrong with having some fun if both sides agreed to it? "As I just got done saying, if she's going to think I'm her boyfriend after one date, then maybe it's not a good idea." The boy was starting to think that talking to Elliot was a mistake.. or maybe it was a good thing to know all this now.

"Oh no.. I had an idea. But I'm beginning to think it's more trouble than it's worth." Although now he sorta wanted to go out with Cora even more.. kinda like when you tell somebody they can't have something and that makes it even more appealing. Ethan straightened the things in his messenger bag and slung the strap over his shoulder. The boy was clearly annoyed.
