Swatting the stuffed duck away, the Headmistress frowned at the Slytherin. "Daichi. Do not push things in peoples' faces. It's RUDE." She shook her head at him and kept shaking it as he continued talking.
"I didn't ask for presents," she mentioned gently, "because I certainly don't need your generosity; however, whoever set this event up did a nice job and I'm not going to change their decorations. Thank you anyway, for coming to meet me."
As for the topic of the brooch... the Headmistress stiffened in her throne and shook her head much more vehemently. "No. I haven't found it. It's missing and I miss it and I'd like it back so if you find it," she paused for a breath, "PLEASE let me know."
O_________O
Did she just....no...yes...she did...SHE HIT MR.DUCKLES!! or like swatted at it BUT THAT WAS THE SAME! The Slytherin stared at the headmistress, dumbfounded as she had literally swatted the stuffed animal he was showing. He lost the grip on the duck and it fell on the ground.
Quickly bending down to pick it up, Daichi petted the duck over it's head and glared at the woman. Oh yes, he glared at the Headmistress~
"And it's RUDE to hit people's priced possessions!" he snapped and then his eyes widened. Had he really just said that? He really needed to think before he spoke!
But still, there was no reason to hit Mr.Duckles. And Daichi wasn't sure if he liked the woman now. Anyone who hurt his best friend was not nice.
He puffed his cheeks as she talked further about not having to give gifts. He was actually relieved about that though.
"Oh..." he answered when she was finished and nodded his head.
And then, she began to act all strange. Even Daichi saw it. At the mention of the brooch she seemed to freeze and for a second the Slytherin thought that another attack was happening. But that had been solved right?!
The way she was speaking made him raise an eyebrow. Was that brooch that special? He could get what it was like to have something special. But...it's a brooch....A brooch.
"Can't you buy a new brooch?" he asked stupidly curious and quickly added the
"Headmistress" to the sentence to sound less rude.
"I mean, it's just a brooch right?" He had promised Tinka that if he would happen to find the brooch he would give it to her.
Yep, he was giving it to Tinka first instead of the Headmistress because even though she was pretty, SHEHITMR.DUCKLES!
