Rubbing his slightly warm face where he had been slapped just seconds ago Leobald tried to apologize for his actions looking into Cece’s eyes as he spoke sincerely.
"I’m so sorry. I thought you knew the tradition associated with mistletoes. At least in my family its tradition to hang mistletoes up over doors around Christmas time and if you stand under one with someone you like you are supposed to kiss them. Sorry, it was not my intention to hurt you; I guess I got a little mistletoe crazy when i found it." He smiled weakly.
Dropping the mistletoe back into the box from whence it had come from with a little plopping sound Leo briefly looked over at Sophia and Sebastian.
"Sorry, I didn’t mean to cause a scene and ruin the decorating for everyone." Sigh.
Turning to leave the hall Leo briefly looked at Cece before he left feeling a rush of emotions pass through him and just general numbness.
Oh goodness..this was a mess..a very hot embarrassing mess. Couldn't Cece have just gone a long with it while they were here in front of everyone and then chew into the man when they were in private....slap him then too?
Ugh..really the woman had no heart sometimes and people thought she was mean!
She looked at Cece and scowled at her but Leo was leaving...torn between wanting to get into it with the healer and comfort her bestfriend, Sophia chose the lesser of the two evils and started walking after Leo.
"Leo wait!..." Quote:

Almost immediately she quieted down, figuring it wouldn't have made the librarian feel any better. It was all the same because he walked out right after receiving a threat to get another slap anyway...wow...so you could hit people more than once and still get away with it?
All this time, they were allowed to go around hitting and she never knew!!! Dangit, if she had known this earlier she would have broken Laura's face instead of her wand; surely then things would have ended differently seeing as everyone seemed so frantic about her breaking the wand. Suddenly, she had a new respect for the healer...
STARE.
She was pulled out of her gawking by a voice shouting her name. She spun around in time to be pulled into a TIGHT, too tight, hug. When had Sarah gotten over there...wasn't she just by a tree? This girl was fast!
"Awwwww, really?" She liked being missed, it made her feel like she made such a difference in the lives of others, BEAM. "I missed you too! I missed all of you!" Being suspended had been no fun at all and she was glad to finally be back. She nodded eagerly with a wide smile once she was asked to help. Now she wouldn't have to go interrupting people to ask if they wanted her help. "I'd love to!"
Hmmmm? Sophia stopped in her tracks when she heard that little outburst from the first year. She'd just have to catch up with Leo in a sec. Pinching the tip of the young Gryffindor's ear she pulled her over to the wall to where the points hour glass was.
"Now you listen to me Miss Cambridge, one more toe out of line and we'll have you packed and sent home so fast you'll wonder if you had only dreamed about being at Hogwarts. And I don't make idle threats." She glared at the girl.
" And you see those points..students worked hard to put them there, don't make me take them away on account of your bad behaviour. No hitting anyone. Have I made myself clear?"
She released her ear and folded her arms, while waiting to see if the student got it.
