Lucky for whoever just ran into him, he was too tired to yell at them. When he regained his balance, he turned to see.... Presley! That suspicious girl from the common room. And she was freaking out. "Woahwoahwoooaahhh, slow down..." Please? It was too early to think that hard. "I'm fine." Because he wasn't really AWAKE yet. And... "I have no idea. But it makes breakfast a little difficult, don't you think?" Milton turned and looked back into the great hall. Yeah... That was going to be a problem.
Presley was so embarassed. As a serious dancer, she was normally pretty graceful. She just hadn't even been paying enough attention to see him. This was so awkward. Thank Merlin he was okay, and he didn't seem to be very upset about it.
Presley groaned in frustration, and nodded at Milton.
"And last minute homework." Because she had that essay to finish!! She couldn't very well lay down on the floor like she did at home. Well, looked like her essay would be turned in only halfway done. She turned and really looked at Milton. He looked super good right now. Super attractive. Presley was surprised to find herself thinking that. This was a project. Something thatshe was doing to show up Elliot. Not legitimately
liking anyone. Unless she was...
She suddenly remembered something.
"Hey, I thought you were the quidditch captain." Obviously. She wanted to smack her forhead for saying something so stupid and obvious. They'd already been through this.
"Where were you for the game yesterday?" The one they'd lost on a freaking stupid technicality!! It made Presley furious. Because technically, Ravenclaw making that many points without the snitch catch meant that they were the better team. But Hufflepuff had beaten them because their seeker had caught the snitch. It was wrong, and should be against the rules. There should have been an overtime period to determine the winner. But this was secondary school Quidditch. And things like that didn't happen. Stupid Hufflepuff.
