Bored. He always was, when she wasn't in the same classroom. He didn't quite have anyone to taunt other than Albus, and it was quite boring. Al never had the same reactions Rose did.

"Al?" he asked, just to test his theory.

Al simply grunted in response and continued chopping valerian roots.

Theory proven.

So when he found her in Arithmancy later that day, oh boy did he annoy the heck out of her.

"Rooooosie!" he sang, in almost a singsong style.

"Shut up, Malfoy. I'm not interested in your Life Path Number."

Rose Weasley knew him so very well.
