Hearing a return greeting, Alex breathed a sigh of relief as she noticed some vague signs of familiarity on the woman's face. Before she had the chance to ponder the familiarity, the woman asked another question. "I wouldn't say lone. Not in the mental or spiritual sense, anyway. But in the physical sense, that is accurate."
Looking around again to be sure no one was going to appear at the woman's side, she was about to ask the same of her, when she realized the woman had said another, so she smiled instead. "Sooooo, how long you traveling here for?"
