In Elise's experience, quidditch hadn't made anyone lose an arm. Maybe knocked them unconscious or gave the fractures or concussions. But the arm certainly wouldn't FALL OFF. Strange kid.
Why would it fall off? WHY WOULD IT FALL OFF?!
"Why WOULDN'T it fall off?!" he screeched, imitating an owl (it didn't help that he was flailing his arms in a desperate attempt to use them as much as possible before they allegedly fell off).
Clearly, he was beyond rational thinking at this point.
"There are SO MANY THINGS that could go wrong. Like...what if? And then...UH. Also like....the thing...and...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH."
CALM?! I AM CALM!
It was like his very existence was on FIRE with arms. FLAMING ARMS EVERYWHERE.
