Sutton tilted her head a slightly when he let out a sigh and bit his lip. Was he disappointed about something? "What's wrong?" she asked with a concerned look in her eyes. Did he not get to see Amelia very often and miss her or something?
As he was talking about family, Sutton shrugged. "Sometimes having family isn't all it's cracked up to be..." she said quietly. She was always living in her older sisters' shadows or being grouped together with her younger sister. Her parents loved her, she knew, but she couldn't even remember the last time she spent any time alone with her parents. Maybe at a doctor's appointment?
"I didn't mean te make ye think I didn' like ye." Yep there he'd said it. Oops, wait then that made it sound like he did! He couldn't now very well say, that it was because of age or...Amelia because the first was stupid, age shouldn't matter and the second, it'd make it sound like if he wasn't with Amelia he'd go with SUTTON??? Me mum and dad figured I could handle stuff on me own and left me te do it." Yep, didn't care what he did, they trusted him to keep clean and behave. Some days he just wanted to do something stupid!
