He hated to see her so upset with how things turned out. especially in all things quidditch which was no doubt why the events today had gotten her bothered.
"Well Miss Watson...that would depend," he remarked leaving it open-ended at first as he watched for a reaction, his charge still secure behind him. "Do ye need clues or would ye rather just guess?"
Miss Watson? The nickname made her smirk. Did he really want to go down that road with her? Because she would gladly call him his companion nickname to her own. After all, she had done so earlier at practice without even blinking. It was a rather fun nickname if she said so herself, which she did. So with a cheeky grin, she said,
"Well, Mary, I'm not Sherlock.. so I suppose I'd like some clues. I can't get it all by myself." She was not nearly that good. She just wore the dashingly attractive bowler hat, WHICH she loved.
And then she waited for some kind of response from him. All the while donning a devilish grin, her previous upset left behind with the antics of her boyfriend.
