He thought the Room or Requirement was a good idea? She really hoped it would work, it would be a shame to end the day so soon, or end up in the kitchens. Not like there was anything wrong with the kitchen, but it just wasn’t special. “Have you ever been there?” she asked, figuring he may have had the opportunity seeing as it was supposed to be located on the seventh floor.

She found herself giggling even more at Max’s expression. Smiling over at him she “Isn’t it?” The snow was falling, and there was this boy smiling at her. The view was good. “Is that a threat?” she asked, grabbing a handful of snow in her red hands and throwing it in the air, and letting it fall down on both of them.

“There is,” she said really wanting that warm fireplace. The girl had gotten so distracted with her fall and giggling fit that she had practically forgotten about their destination. With Max’s assistance, Em managed to get to her feet. “And we need to stop by the broomshed.” She said gesturing to the broomstick that was hiding under the snow.

"Err, not exactly been there," Max admitted. "I've walked by where I think it is plenty of times, but never had a reason... never had a need for the room, y'know?" He shrugged casually, hoping it wasn't a big deal that he was a seventh year and had never been inside the room before. "Have you?"

Was it a threat? "Absolutely not," he said quickly, but added with a smirk, "It's a promise." He nudged her in the side playfully, laughed softly at the snow she threw, and helped her to her feet. Max rose after her, picked up his own broom, and gave Em a nod. "Right. Broomshed, a voyage up to the castle without falling, kitchen, Room of Requirement. We can do this." He added the second part in as a joke, hoping to make her smile - though he DID hope they made it without any falls.

He carefully trudged through the nice layer of snow covering the ground, brushed off Em's school broom with his glove, then picked it up. His broom in one hand, the school broom in the other, Max gestured toward the exit. "Got yours. Ready?"
