She felt oddly protective, and while she knew Elliot would absolutely be able to make her own judgements, she did NOT want to see Elliot hurt at all. Ever.

That's what friends were for, right? "Guess I'll have to stalk the Gryffindor table during meals," Cora added with a smile. She obviously would be too nervous to go up to anyone there, but it would be fun to tease Elliot.

Cora's smile faded a bit with Elliot's quick change of topics. And of course, Cora turned bright red. Why do I have to be so pale? Cora thought. She was aware of the pinkish red she turned when her cheeks got hot. "Oh, Ethan," Cora's voice a bit higher in pitch than she was comfortable with, "Oh it's nothing." Ugh. Lying to Elliot again. Maybe more than nothing, she was dying to say. "Alright, we met in Herbology and he is the sweetest guy I've met." AND he doesn't completely ignore me. "But there's nothing going on." Surely Ethan would not actually like Cora, he was just being nice. Cora liked having him as a friend. Yep, that's what he was. Still, the idea of both Elliot and Cora having boyfriends made Cora's heart pound. Somehow the look on Elliot's face concerned Cora. What is she thinking?

Elliot smiled smugly. "Of course you will...my treat to you, Cora, dear," Cora made Elliot feel nicer, of course. Cora was too nice...to not be nice to. Not like Soapy, who was just ANNOYING.

Hehehe...she smirked.."Yeah, you would like him. He's nicer than I am, at least." Oh, and, "You two seem to agree on something...that I have a nice side..." she rolled her eyes. Whatever...this nice side only came out a few times...and usually only with Cora and Maxwell...the two nicest people she knew! She nodded.."Yeah. He's not really into school, though." She rolled her eyes and sighed. "I'm trying to change, that, though." Ehhh.

Elliot watched her...especially her eyes...and the blush was a DEAD giveaway.."Cora...come ON! He is totally into you as well!" she cried, putting her hands on Cora's shoulders and shaking her playfully. "Get with it! I have an awesome idea!" she cried. "I can TOTALLY set you guys up!" she cried, amazed at her own brilliance!!
