Laura had been scribbling things down and crossing them out as she tried to figure out what she was going to do for the Muggle Study homework, she looked up and took one look at Ella and giggled before speaking. "Okay so who's the lucky boy?" Laura was sure that only a boy would make Ella forget about work and well she had been like it with Oakey but she was glad it was over now because she could concentrate on work, instead of impressing a boy.
Laura sighed. "I'm working hard if you must know." Laura was fed up with people thinking that she wasn't working at all. "You do know that I do work when I want to." Laura sighed before looking at her friend appologetic. "I'm sorry Ella." Laura smiled, she had missed her bestie and was worried that everyone was avoiding her for some strange reason.
Ella smiled at her friend, her cheeks turning red.
"Harvey and I..." Wait, Laura didn't know about this yet? Well they hadn't really seen each other around so it wasn't that surprising, she guessed.
"We're...together now." And she bit her lip to stop the gigantic smile that was threatening to show itself.
"I um....it's good. I'm...really happy about it." Bounce.
Ella blinked at her friend, throwing her hands up in the air.
"Laura I didn't mean it like...I was only joking around." Sheesh. What was up with Laura? That was...a little aggressive.
"Are you okay?" Because of course, Laura's apology was accepted but Ella was now a bit concerned.
