She didn't know whether she really was helping out her fellow claw...or just ticking her off...either way, it was amusing!
Oh, Merlin...she peered around Presley and saw...Blue? Right? That was Blue. And Elise..she was in Elliot's year, right? She raised an eyebrow.."I have no idea..I never went to those.." probably because all of the other girls were super jealous of how awesome Elliot was..."Can I come, too?" she asked, widening her eyes a bit...only because she had never been to one...and she thought she might like to find out.
DONE?? She and Maxwell were done?? Presley had spent her whole day boyfriend hunting, and she didn't even need to be, because Elliot was broken up! Well, she would continue anyway, because she should have already had a couple of boyfriends at this age, right? She knew kids who had dated in third year. Why not Presley?
"Oh, well, I'm sorry about that." Presley said bluntly. She wasn't. And Elliot knew it.
"So lunch tomorrow is off?" Obvioiusly.
Presley rolled her eyes.
"Did she really? Or did she say something about not liking lace very much?" Because Elliot would take either to mean that it was okay to spread lace all over the girls bed.
"Me either," Presley shrugged. Slumber parties just never had been a part of Presley's life. She went to formals, and on vacations, and tea, and shopping, and lunch together, but never stay up late, eat popcorn and giggle type things. Ever.
"I don't care if you come. But it's not my thing." She glanced over at Elise and the little kid.
"But I bet if you asked they'd be okay with it. They invited me after all."
And apparently Presley wasn't very likeable because she'd never dated anyone, and she kept having to repair relationships with other people in her life. There wasn't really anybody that she knew that she hadn't had some sort of falling out with.
