After strolling around for a while, Gwendolyn eventually decided to stop by the trophy room.
Soon, she found herself examining some of the Quidditch trophies, once again wondering if she hadn’t done a mistake by not trying out for the team. Oh well. She didn’t really want to remind herself of that... The fifth year started walking away from the trophies she had checked out a moment ago, and headed over to the place where the house cups were exposed.
Still looking at the trophies she was passing by, on her way to see the house cups, the Ravenclaw didn’t pay attention to where she was going. It was only a moment later that she bumped into someone. For once in her life, Gwen managed to regain her balance in time to avoid falling. ‘Sorry’, she said curtly, trying not to point out that he was staying in her way. Clearly not my fault, Gwendolyn thought and drew her attention back to the house cups.
Deciding to examine the house cups in more detail, Ed leant closer. There were a lot of appearances from Gryffindor and Ravenclaw with some random Slytherin cups popping up. That amused him, did the Slytherins bribe the points from the professors or had they been good? A good Slytherin? Surely not. Oh, wait. Isaac was a good Slythie! Half frowning, he straightened up, eyeing the cups distastefully.
And almost the instant that he'd straightened up, he was knocked aside slightly. What was with people bumping into him lately?! First there had been that
rude child pretending to be an adult guy in Hogsmeade which hadn't turned out too well, now this? Well, maybe he'd try a different approach this time. "
I'm not exactly hard to miss, maybe try looking next time. It's okay." No argument this time, hopefully.
Still not moving because, well, she could
around him, he looked back to the cups. Hufflepuff had won last year, but it was kind of obvious they weren't going to win this year. Unless they took a leaf out of Slytherin's book.
