Since the Common Room was getting rather crowded, Gwendolyn decided to go for a walk. Yes. A walk sounded good. With no plan in mind, the fifth year made her way along the seventh floor corridor and then started descending the stairs.
Hmm. Where to go? After strolling around for a while, Gwendolyn eventually decided to stop by the trophy room.
Soon, she found herself examining some of the Quidditch trophies, once again wondering if she hadn’t done a mistake by not trying out for the team. Oh well. She didn’t really want to remind herself of that... The fifth year started walking away from the trophies she had checked out a moment ago, and headed over to the place where the house cups were exposed.
Still looking at the trophies she was passing by, on her way to see the house cups, the Ravenclaw didn’t pay attention to where she was going. It was only a moment later that she bumped into someone. For once in her life, Gwen managed to regain her balance in time to avoid falling.
‘Sorry’, she said curtly, trying not to point out that he was staying in her way.
Clearly not my fault, Gwendolyn thought and drew her attention back to the house cups.
