When the badger made it up to the fifth floor, she was feeling seriously tired. Plus she hadn't had any luck finding the brooch. Frown. Maybe it was time for a break? Yeah...a break sounded good.
The third year hadn't even noticed that someone else was leaning against a wall very close by and she jumped a bit when she spotted him. EEP! "You scared me!" She said, before laughing softly. "What I mean to say is...I didn't notice you there." Quiet as a mouse, he was. "You didn't happen to see a green brooch up here, did you?" She might as well ask, at least then she'd be doing something productive on her little break. Would anyone notice if Terry just slid down against the wall and fell asleep on the spot? He was so sleepy, as per usual. He was certain it was because of the lessons, they went on for a while and the theory stuff made him want to snore. The practical stuff on the other hand was exciting and it was probably the excitement that completely tired him out the next day. That morning, the twelve year old had got up especially early because he heard something in the Lake which he could see from the common room and so he had gone to investigate.
Suddenly, to his surprise, a girl turned the corner and seemed to have received the same surprise that he had. The boy chuckled at her reaction. "Don't worry. I can be quite scary" he growled and then erupted in a fit of giggles. The Blonde boy was probably one of the least intimidating people, he always wore a bright smile on his face and encouraged others to be happier.
He shook his head at the question though, his eyes hadn't exactly been glued on the floor searching for a brooch. "Nope, but I haven't really been looking. Why? Have you lost it?" he enquired, although he had been sure that he'd overheard a house elf talking about it. Maybe one of the Professors had lost it? "I can help you look for it if you want?" He asked with a nod.
"I'm Terry!"
