She gave the girl a look that said really?
"If you'd like a more precise answer, I'd recommend doing some research in the library. Will that be all?" She should have just bidden the girl good day....
Kurumi almost instinctively took a step back from the woman. Yeah...Professor Newlin had sent her on a rather insane mission it seemed. That is, if the emphasis on the word common sense were any indication. Kurumi hadn't asked if aaaaaaaaaaaaaall the jewels had come from fire crabs. She wasn't THAT daft.
Still, Kurumi managed a polite nod and tried not to get flustered and overly uncomfortable by the LOOK the woman was giving her. Don't hex the messenger?
"
Right, of course," Kurumi nodded. "
I'll go ask Mr. Kitridge if he has any suggestions as to where to look." Besides
Hogwarts, A History that is. Kurumi had read that cover to cover, no such luck. "
I'm sorry for taking up your time, Headmistress." She would have said thank you, but the look...yeah...that was not a good look.
