Melanie was amused. Definitely amused. The whole costume was actually cute though she supposed Landon was too afraid to see that. She did like the hug though. Hugs were very nice, especially since it was colder out now. She glanced over at the Jigglypuff section though. Yup. A Badger. A cuddly badger mascot costume. Really, it made no sense how Landon was afraid of it but he was and she would have to make sure he didn't run around screaming in the middle of this or anything.

"Since I put on my shoes," Melanie replied with a giggle, pointing one foot out slightly in front of her and then flailing around, trying to keep her balance. Yeah, maybe it wasn't such a good idea doing that. She grabbed onto Landon to stop herself from falling.

Yup. No falling for Melanie Sung. Not right now at least. "C'mon, let's go sit somewhere away from the Jigglypuffs, okay?" Because that would mean that they'd be further from the costume and chances of Landon running into the person in the costume would be slimmer too. She wondered if anyone would be dressed up in a lion mascot costume thing...

Spotting the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain, Melanie beamed and wiggled her fingers to greet the girl wearing... battle paint? That seemed cool. She couldn't help but grin at the sight of that.

Now... what did one scream at a pep rally?
