There was a certain point where one just had to let go and let a person realize things for themselves. She sensed that she had reached that point with Konrad and the way he saw himself, so she did just that. Let it go. She did return the cheek kiss, though.

Sighing, Roxanne took a bite, what actually turned out to be her last bite, of her apple pie. It looked like it was time for her to get back upstairs and work. Ugh. She so wasn't looking forward to the mound of work that was sure to be waiting for her when she returned to her desk. It was her fault though, what with all the procrastinating she was doing. Her boss was so going to have her head....

"I should be getting back to work, but I don't want too," she said outloud, pouting. Don't make me go back!
