Holding onto a tree was not as good of an idea as it sounded. A coconut from the tree had fallen and just barely missed her. Had it not been for the gust of wind at just the right moment, the coconut probably would have landed right on her head. She peeked out from under her eyelids. More coconuts and other debris were soaring about, and there were even students FLYING! O____O And Silvia would be one of them if she couldn’t keep her hands from slipping.
Her shield was beginning to weaken as her attention turned from maintaining it to trying to stay alive. Another coconut seemed to come out of nowhere, and this time it slammed into her shoulder, her shield not quite strong enough to block it. And Silvia lost her grip. She felt the wind suddenly shift and push her a few feet away from the tree and downwards. She was lying on the ground, her hands covering her head, sand still whirling about and grinding against her exposed hands.

"Finite Incantatem." She said loudly into the storm. Immediately everything became still and the 'sky' cleared.
She looked around at the battered students and beamed at him. "Very good everyone..very good. I need you all to gather around." So she could properly dismiss class and announce the winner and such.
And suddenly, it all stopped. After a moment Silvia looked up. The clouds were gone, and so was the wind; no more flying students. Slowly she stood up. Her shoulder was sore but otherwise she did not seem to have sustained any serious injuries.
The young Claw made her way towards the hut where the professor was standing. Her face and hands were wet; her eyes were a bit red and her hands rubbed almost raw in places from the stinging sand and from clinging to the tree. Then there was her shoulder of course, which she rubbed unconsciously. But her cloak was
mostly dry; there were a few areas that were slightly damp where the shield had begun to fail in the last few moments. Silvia normally enjoyed Charms class, but this wasn’t exactly her idea of fun. WHAT had Professor Bellaire been
thinking, sending them into a hurricane without ensuring they were completely protected from harm? She didn't say anything.
