Lights blinked herself out of her dream world and looked up Ben sat down opposite her. "Hey!" she said cheerily, returning his grin. "How've you been?" She'd worked with him a bit on the current Time Thief case, but most of those conversations had been serious discussions about suspects and witnesses, not really social chats.
