Eliza stepped into the homework room for Transfiguration and found it was already quite busy. She read the instructions one more time and walked over to her mannequin.
Okay, something that I would really wear, she thought. But not something so simple that it doesn’t look like I tried. She pulled out her sketchbook to brainstorm ideas.
Holding her pencil above the paper, she compiled some thoughts.
Well, I like…the night sky. So maybe I’ll put some stars on it. She wrote that down. And I like sweaters the best… Check. Might as well make it mostly navy to match my house… She wondered if when she was done, she could ask Professor Bellaire to teach her a charm to make the stars really twinkle.
She went to work on her design and when she was done, she pinned it to the bottom half of her mannequin. She thought it might help to see her design as she cast her spell on the trash bag she’d slipped over her silent helper. |
