Terry couldn't draw, at least he didn't think he could. Drawing hadn't exactly been something he had been taught to do and so as he picked up a pencil and a blank piece of parchment, his expression changed to one of confusion. The room was full of mainly girls who appeared to be in their element drawing out unique designs whereas Terry had absolutely no idea what to do. He started outlining a basic t-shirt shape, one that he would be comfortable with and then started to contemplate what exactly he would like to see on a design that would make it special to him.
The first idea that came instantly into his mind was the fact his family had a Phoenix, Amadeus and he felt that this would sum him up in a design. He loved creatures and Phoenix were something he truly was familiar with. He sketched out a small design in the corner of the T-Shirt and then decided it was too small to see. He enlarged it in the corner of his parchment, deciding on a cartoon type take on the creature rather than a realistic one which he was sure he wouldn't be able to pull off. He drew a couple of lines at the top of his design as he felt it was too plain and then pulled back, satisfied that his design was okay.
Did he have to hand this in too? It was far from perfect and he was worried that it would be compared with other peoples ideas which he knew would be better than his. It was clear that the second year was out of his comfort zone.
