There was another knock on the door. Another Puff, perhaps? Looking to the girls momentarily, she decided she would invite them in. If it was someone from another house, well, she'd tell them to come back later. If it was a Puff, then no big deal as they could help plan the little meet-and-greet.

Then there was a knock, and the professor was inviting someone into the room. Sutton turned around in her chair to see who it was... she didn't want any of the other houses stealing their awesome idea! She could come in? Uggggggh. Glenn opened the door and stood inside. Minerva and some younger puff. No. Why? She cast a panicked glance down at the sign and covered it quickly with her arm; the words still clearly visible after her making the letters so large. Trying to ignore her housemates, she turned to Professor Hadley and gushed, "I should go. It's fine - you guys talk about... whatever it is you guys are talking about." A cocktail party or something..? Whatever that was about. "I'll just... go. I'll go. Come back later when you don't have company."
The blonde ran her free hand through her hair - something she only did when she was nervous. See? THIS was why she'd been trying to keep away from people. So they WOULDN'T see that she had lost points - she also didn't want it getting out that she'd got lost, too. Now THAT, would be the most humiliating thing in the world. |
