Next to the fashion seminar, this was probably one of those that Kurumi should probably not be in here. Granted, it wasn't the dance part that had caught her attention. She really could do without another dance based lesson. The Groundskeeper's lesson and Muggle Studies had been more than enough and the Gryffindor wanted to graduate without having broken an ankle from falling...thank you very much.
The other aspect...the whole wandLESS aspect of the lesson...that was why Kurumi was now in the classroom doing various stretches and rolling her ankles and pulling her arm across her body to stretch. That...and only that. Dancing was probabyl going to freak her out. Somehow.
And then the lesson began...and Kurumi sort of just stared at the former Hogwartian. What did she THINK it was? Well, um...wasn't that why she was here? To learn what the subject was?
Kurumi chewed on her lip and glanced at those she was near, namely Vivi, and sort of wiggled her finger at her in greeting. That was how Vivi tended to greet people, right?

Erm...right...Funcantations...spells that were fun to say? Dance Magic...erm...spells evoked through dance? Most of the traditional dances Kurumi did back home in Japan were meant for that sort of thing. Only Kurumi was a little too focused on balancing on one foot at the moment to properly answer Cela. So much for having learned how to do two things at once thanks to Defense Against the Dark Arts?

Lowering her right leg and switching to the left,
Kurumi began to stretch her quad when they moved on to the next question. Several of the examples she had thought of had already been mentioned, so the Gryffindor's hand remained down for the time being. Hmm... to be entirely honest, ALL spells sounded nonsense to her. Latin...it was a weird language that only people like Selina seemed to enjoy. Finding her balance a little, Kurumi raised her hand to sort of, erm, ask a question instead. "
Cela, can nonsense incantations also encompass their wand movements? I know this seminar is about wandless magic, but there are some wand movements out there that just seem....ridiculous," Kurumi said as she wobbled a little on her one leg. "
For example...we just learned Explaeris recently...and the wand movement was us flapping our arm...like a duck."
If that wasn't nonsense then she didn't know what was.
