At the clapping, Alec ~~gladly~~ stopped stretching and grinned at the blonde woman who was taking the class. It was going to be a bit... weird, actually. Calling someone who was an adult by their first name. It was always either Professor or Miss/Mr/Mrs/Ms. But then again... he was kind of glad that they could call her 'Cela' or 'Celandine'. Kettleburn wasn't hard to pronounce but... Toussaint? ... He wasn't even going to attempt to pronounce that.

Now... for her question... what exactly was FUNcantations? "It reminds me of incantations... but it says 'Fun' so... a fun way of doing magic?" That really was all he could think of. Or, well, the first thing that entered his head when he heard the word 'FUNcantations'. ... This was probably why he wasn't a Ravenclaw.

Oh! Oh! "Erm..." he said, as another thought entered his head, "And... it has something to do with dancing? Magic from dancing... without using a wand..." And now that was all he had. ... Wait, did this mean they would produce sparks from inside of them? Like... like a superhero would? THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. CUE MAJOR GRIN FACE.
