Those piercing blues was shifting between caged crab to caged crab rather carefully. He cares for Creatures very much indeed, but bathing them where he was 1.) ill trained in handling them and 2.) has vested interest in keeping his eyebrows singed-free has him considering which crab to take carefully. Suddenly he lurched forward when he felt someone tackle him from behind. Lurching forward he gripped the arm around his torso but the smile tugged at his lips almost at the same time. He knows that voice.

Partners? "Sure why not?" he grinned back, that kind of smarty grin that gives more than what his words meant. But as Louisa neared a cage and grabbed the nearest one any word of caution he wanted to say was caught in his throat. Mouth slightly agape he eyed the cage she dragged along with her.

The firecrab was..... asleep?

"Well lets hope it stays this calm when we work with it huh?" He smiles cautiously as he took the crab cage from her. What a way to test if their luck would hold today eh?

And as if the wicked Fates heard that challenge-- Peeves showed up.

He winced as the worm-rain started to fall, using himself (and the caged firecrab) to shield Louisa. Ok that was incredibly.... disgusting and infuriating. Disgusting because they were worms. Infuriating because they were collected bait helpless worms.

He heard the Professor holler at them about not harming the worms "Of course... ' he muttered as he checked Louisa over for any worm that may have slipped past him. "You ok?" he mumbled at the ginger Head Girl.

And the fire crab in the cage? It just woke up. Oh and look-- squirmy, slimy breakfast in bed!
