Partners? Eek. Kai didn't really have an abundance of friends here. He spotted a Slytherin girl asking for someone to partner with, and seized his chance by dashing across the room.
"H-Hi." he stuttered.
"I'm Kai. I need, I mean...do you want to partner up with me?" That was the best he could do. She was way too attractive to be associated with him, but he wanted to do well in all his classes and a partner was necessary.
