Elliot prodded the train suspiciously...as if it might blow up or something. She took a deep breath and...."Finite incantatem!" she cried, and as the spell hit the train...
Nothing happened.
Elliot growled a little. "Gah! stupid train. THis is why we shouldn't use anything made by muggles anyways!" she ranted to Hannah...UGH. "And I don't know what happened...if I did, I would tell you. But...maybe dark magic. But then why wasn't there more panic..." Because when dark magic was usually involved...people panicked.
Trying random spells? That was very unravenclaw of her. This was going to be a long class. This seemed like busy work to her. Hannah watched as Elliot tried the spell. It made sense to her to try it out because if a spell was used to counter it then Finite incantatem would have so worked...buuuut if it was dark magic was it really that simple?
Hannah was not happy that the spell didn't do a thing. She gave the train a whack with her wand thinking that maybe it just needed a little push. Nope still nothing.
"I know...they will never learn. Nothing good comes from muggle things." Still she was glad that Elliot seemed to be on the same wave length as her.
"I'm convinced it had to be tampered with." How to prove it though.
"Maybe somebody was really good at covering it up." There were so many possibilites.
"Got anything else in that mind of yours?" Because Hannah was coming up with a big fat nothing!
