Human interaction itself was bad enough. Now she had to tell all the important people in her house why she was wearing some stupid sign around her neck all week. Let's humiliate the girl who went in the forest. Hmpf. Laura had done much worse than her and never had to wear a sign around her neck announcing her points loss.

Arranging her face so she wouldn't yell, she replied in a strained voice, "I understand." She glanced toward the castle, "May I go work on my sign now?" She said with maybe the tiiiiiiiiiiniest hint of sarcasm - hopefully just the right amount that the groundskeeper ~~emperor of evilness~~, wouldn't notice.
