"If you say so..." he began - Seriously, what planet was Miss Delusional from, anyway? "I highly doubt anyone else would agree though," he continued, mirroring her drawl. Ethan gave the common room a brief once-over. Nope, no one was bowing down to her... where did she get her sense of entitlement?
Huh?! As Elliot continued to speak, Ethan shot her a very confused look. Did she really just say that she wasn't going to fight over a chair? "But that's what this whole thing was about... that stupid chair..." he began, not even knowing how to continue. Ugh, girls were so confusing, and this one was no exception. Shaking his head out of pure exasperation, the fifth year tried to turn his attention back to his letter. If she wanted to walk around thinking she owned the place... then, whatever. But if the girl thought that he was a push-over like those other two boys, she was crazy. He would not be getting out of any seats at the sight of her glare... the fifteen year old lifted his eyes to appraise the infamous chair. Maybe he'd have to make it a point to sit in it next time he was in the common room... just for fun. Smirk.
HA! As if no one would agree...Elliot knew this was true...obviously. But it just because people didn't like her very much. And she didn't mind that too much.
The blonde traced her finger over the heading of the chapter absentmindedly, her blue eyes flickering between the boy and the fire...which was somewhat distracting...
"If you say so..."she shrugged, knowing full well that he was right. But hey, Elliot wouldn't admit to it!
"Are you new? Or have I just never seen you around?" she asked suddenly, bluntly...because he didn't look familiar.
At all.
And Elliot didn't really know everyone. So the chance of him being an old student waaaas high...Elliot just had never even seen him in the common room before.
