Maybe it wasn't a very good idea to join them.

Yep, he was late. She was too tired to ask for reasons yesterday and now it was almost class so she just shrugged and smiled, "It's alright." Pause. "You know, if you're not feeling so well, you can just forget about these for a couple of days." She could reschedule her NEWTs studying hours and-- "Hi Beezus!" Louisa waved at the younger eagle, she was about to make place for her to sit between the two of them when the measured ~~solemn?~~ greeting between her and Spike were obvious signs of... utter awkwardness.

Blink.

Louisa found herself staring down at the interesting spot on the ground, cutting some grass blades a bit nervously. How did one kill this kind of awkwardness?! She didn't know! "So.. umm... pretty excited for the new professor's teaching system." The silence was about to kill all three of them.
