Aww, it was like she could read his mind. That or she just really knew her husband, which, Wesley hoped she WOULD by now. "And I like having you visit." He rubbed her arms gently. "We all do."

He grew quiet then, as she looked like she was struggling to say or remember something, but suddenly a blank look came over her face. Wes waved a hand in front of her face to try to wake her up. "Uh, Iz? You oka---" Oh, there she was, talking again. Wes chuckled a little at his wife's zoning out but got back on topic pretty easily.

"Our kid will NOT be a nightmaaare," Wes drawled, dismissing the thought by making it sound silly. "He'll just be... good at self-defense and adventure-seeking and brilliant and he'll probably give us both gray hair, sure, but he'll be ours and he'll be awesome."

He gave his wife a squeeze of assurance and looked toward the door. He should be getting back to work now, really, they both should, before rumors started about what they were doing in the evidence room... but Dash's name drew his attention back.

HA! He was dating Thea. No surprises there. "You know, I think he mentioned something about her when I invited him to our wedding," he mused. "They deserve each other."
