Even better was the fact that Stella had agreed to come with him since he hadn't been entirely sure if she would have had the time to visit the village due to the fact he realized she was busy with school and he hadn't wanted to create a problem. As he started to look around the somewhat crowded room, he noticed the fact that there were students in there which was definitely interesting but not something that he was going to just wonder about since the notice of his girlfriend still holding his hand had caught his attention; normally she would have just gone off on her own though he definitely had absolutely no problems with it since he loved simply having her around even if they weren't doing anything. "I do, I mean we should at least before thinking about getting a drink." he replied, returning the smile that she had given him before leading her towards a table that he spotted half way across the room.
He couldn't help but notice what was going on as they passed, there had been a group of students of which looked like they were about to investigate a mystery and he also seemed see Professor Bentley; at least there still had been a professor that he liked around which from what he heard was quite rare anymore since most of them had left already including the Headmaster. As the finally reached the table, he went over and pulled out the chair for Stella so that she could take a seat before they had figured out what next since there was a lot of ideas swimming about in his mind. Stella hadn't missed the fact Matt had been surprised that she hadn't let go of his hand yet. She was too tuned into him to miss that, and besides, she also knew why he was surprised. Although she also chose not to tell him that it was because she was a tiny bit afraid to. Afraid that if she let go all that weirdness was going to come crashing down on her and she wouldn't know how to deal with it, along with the fact she was nervous just being in the Hog's Head. Seeing people she remembered, especially the few that she knew were still obviously students, just reminded her that she wasn't supposed to be there, oddly enough. Especially as she'd seen Anya coming in as well, along with a boy she didn't know. Actually, several people she didn't know, but were all students. She could tell they were students, and not just because they'd all joined the group that included Gideon, Vickers, and the mustache-wearing girl. They just looked like students, and that made her wonder why she'd always felt like she couldn't come here when she'd been one as well. However, she managed a nod as Matt had taken her suggestion and started leading her through the room to a table, before she just went back to looking around.
Professor Bentley with a man she assumed was her old Herbology professor's fiancé... More people she didn't recognize, and then she thought she caught a glimpse of another familiar figure seated at a table not far from the one Matt had chosen. "Is that...," she started to say as she'd taken the seat he'd held out for her, only to lean forward a bit as the woman had moved. It looked like Professor Schirmer, but then she was kissing... Professor Scabior? Now that was interesting, but she just shook her head as she returned her attention to her own boyfriend. "It doesn't matter," she finished. She wasn't going to try to understand what she'd just seen, and she was defin itely not goin g to draw attention to it in case her favorite former professor would rather keep things private. She wasn't sure she could blame her anyway. "So what do you want to do while we're here?," she asked Matt. "Besides getting a drink right now, of course. If we have the whole day to ourselves, where should we go next?"
