"What she taught me is none of your business." The 11 year old didn't like any form of conversation that involved her mother and had been known to get a bit high strung when it came to such matters.

Hmmmm, she would have disagreed on that but then she was good friends with her neighbour and her former classmate, though she would answer the next question. "It has everything to do with things! What good's a boyfriend if he can't get you candy? I hang out with everyone and they don't go around giving me candy, if he's my boyfriend then shouldn't he try to be different from everyone else? Yes. He should." Uh huh, she answered her own question so Laura wouldn't have a chance to give a stupid answer. "That being the case he should get me candy." Yup. Prefectly logical.
