He nudged the front door open and peered in-- it really wasnt that bad. It wasnt the Three Broomsticks either but hey at least his OCD wouldnt be kicking and screaming when he takes a seat.
So there he was being all incognito, creeping quietly close to the walls and avoiding walking through the center of the shop. The less people see of his lanky self the bett-- oh HEY Hello Professor Schirmer!!! With Professor Scabior??!? Oh hey look theres Ellie!!!
Is he waving hello? So much for incognito...
But for all his new found excitement at the former Hogwartians he finally spotted that shock of pale blonde hair sitting at the corner. He slipped into the booth quickly and realized a few things-- Gideon was there with his deerstalker hat, of which the Gryffindor got a "Nice hat" compliment, and now that Vickers can fully see the Ravenclaw blonde's face the Nice mustache statement kinda got caught in his throat. He hovered his fingers over his own upper lip but with his eyes still on Vivi he murmured "I hope this isnt about you asking us guys how to shave." And he said he wasn't a creeper. Vivi grinned as Vickers tried to be all sneaky in his all-black clothing and furtive looks. She was not fooled. And she was thrilled he bothered to dress up. That was a good sport, that was.
"No, it's MEEEE," Vivi peeled back her mustache and gave Vickers an exaggerated wink. Look, see? Incognito!Genevieve. She quickly smoothed the mustache back down and gestured to the booth. "I don't need to know how to shave, although... this disguise would be much better if the mustache was real. Will you teach me how to shave?"

"Perhaps Lestrade?...and butterbeer will be fine." He might be legal to drink anything else but wasn't about to get into that sort of thing while surrounded by fellow students. That and past experiences made him vary.
And then they were joined by Vickers, the Ravenclaw slipping into their booth without so many words. Was he part of the plan? Gideon simply nodded politely in greeting as he sat quietly. "Thanks," was all he gave however at the shave comment, he couldn't help but bite back a laugh. That would be an amusing conversation to say the least. "No... Vick has to be Lestrade. You're going to be Mary, obviously." Obviously. Didn't he know his canon? Mary was Watson's One True Love (except she totally died and then he had another OTL, but whatevs). Plus he couldn't be a conspirator just because he had an awesome hat.
Although... he did have the hat. SO CONFUSING.
"Vick is the counterbalance to Sherlock and Watson's wild flights of logical whimsy. Or Lestrade is, and Vick is to Selina and I. Watson and I." Vivi's eyebrows climbed way up her forehead at all the circular conversation. "Maybe nobody better be Lestrade."

Kurumi's stomach was already in knots thanks to a CERTAIN former Gryffindor showing up in Hogsmeade. Running her fingers through her hair and accidentally pulling a few strands of it out in aggravation, Kurumi pushed open the door and somewhat glared at the bell as it announced her arrival. Trying to ignore its cheery tone for the time being, Kurumi scanned the area looking for Selina. Whatever it was her best friend had called her here for...it was really REALLY important. Or seemed to be that way at least. The Quidditch captain had all but been in tears that morning when she had asked Kurumi to meet her in the afternoon.
Either that...or Selina just really REALLY liked the butterbeer here more than she did at the Three Broomsticks.
Only Kurumi didn't see Selina...but instead Vivi, Vickers, and Gideon all at the same table. Coincidence? Most likely not. Only one way to find out though... Kurumi walked up to the trio and chewed on her lower lip for just a moment. " Selina?" she asked. Because that really did sum it all up, right?
....why were Vivi and Gideon....dressed up? Had she missed something? "LESTRADE!" Vivi waved her mustache at the girl, which hadn't really reattached properly after the last removal. No, no. No one was Lestrade. Vivi waved Kurumi into a seat and tried not to be disappointed that the girl hadn't worn a costume. Didn't she knoooooow better?
"Sit over by Mary-not-Lestrade, please. Have to save room for Watson."

So tipping her hat down a little like those old muggle movies from the early twentieth century, she stuck her hands in her pocket and shiftily creeped over to the table where she saw Genevieve was sitting. She did not even notice any of the other who had gathered there. Instead, she just slipped into the booth and leaned against Vivi. Looking down at the table she said, "I'm here for the thing... you know what I mean...?" That sounded like a spy right.
It was then, though, she heard other voices. Lifting her head up and completely dropping her super sleuth routine, she saw that Gideon and Vickers were there. A smile flashed on her face, "Oh hello there! Vickers... Gideon. Nice hat!" It was a rather jolly looking hat, wasn't it?
Then she saw Kurumi across the room looking around rather curiously, she waved her friend down and yelled, "OI! HOLLINGBERRY! OVER HERE!" Because they were, after all, over here. Turning back to Genevieve she said, "Oh and the munchins should be here soon." "Watson, thank Merlin you found us. I was afraid you wouldn't recognize us in our disguises." Vivi struggled to unstick her mustache from her fingers and reapply it to her face, but without success. Stupid... sticky thing. She should have tried a sticking charm, but that might have removed all the skin from her face or something. And she'd look bad with no skin.
Vivi leaned back. "Munchkins? Merlin, I thought I was doing well to bring Vick, and you've brought an army." Case in point... the minions were arriving.

Simon had decided to head to the bar to perhaps getting something to drink. However a yelling of Hollingberry turned his head and sure enough there was Selina yelling for Kurumi her best friend. Oh how he missed them both from the few years they had together at Hogwarts. Forgetting about the drink, the former Gryffindor made a beeline for the table she and the rest of the group he didn't know were situated.
Thankfully for him, Selina had most of her back towards him now that she had sat back down so he was perfectly able to move slowly and come up behind her. He smiled politely at Kurumi but it was the redhead who was his target. Then with a quick movement, he leaned down and dropped a hand infront of her face to block her view but not actually touch her. "Guess who..." Two little minions (cute, by the way), and one very... large one. Vivi held down her mustache as she peered up at the boy...man... person who was pouncing on Watson. That was not polite behavior, was it? Should she kick him? Throw a shoe?
"Your minions aren't little, Watson. But... anyway... everyone here?" Vivi attempted to extricate herself from the booth, putting a hand on Watson's shoulder and a hand on Vickers'. "Welcome to the first meeting of the Hogsmeade Irregulars. We have our very first case to solve... the search for Mortimer. I'm sorry to say that our suspect pool is quite large, and so we're going to have to resort to extreme measures."
