Almost as soon as it happened she was back, blinking a little. "Where...what...oh..." She spoke quickly, before nodding down at her parchment, and continuing to write the memo.
Oh. Alex wanted something to do. "Could you...." She mused, thinking for a few moments, before nodding. "Check if any of the other charms aren't working." She then realised that Alex might not be able to actually get into any of the rooms. "Pass your badge..." She motioned for the badge, and when Alex handed it over, she tapped it, allowing her entrance to the other rooms. "I'll owl Thea, and see if she can send anybody down." Hmm, yes, Isobel HAD indeed mentioned something about the charms being fuzzy. But then, what happened next, well Alex was just shocked. Considering her rudeness only moments prior to her boss, her boss was now allowing her access to the other rooms. To check for more charm malfunctions. Or if it was solely the Space and Time Chamber that appeared to have been swapped. "Yes, I can check. Thank you," Alex said, handing over her badge and watching as Isobel tapped it. Quote:

Demetrius said with a nod. It looked like Alex was just about to leave and Demetrius wanted to do the same. But he procrastinated on this assignment. So he had to do it. It only took one look at Isobel to see that she was pregnant. "Congratulations, Isobel." But She probably did not want to announce it yet. Whatever, now that congratulations were done. It was time to move on to business. Even though all Demetrius wanted to do was go home and hop he did not drool all over his bed. "I wanted to talk to you about the mysterious deaths at the ministry before i go over there to take care of it."
He really did not want to go to St. Mungos. Because he and Healers do not really get along. He liked death and Healers try and stop or slow down death. Which did not make sense to Demetrius. Since you were probably going to die anyway. Before she could bid her boss adieu though, Demetrius was making his way into the office. She smiled politely at him, backing her way slowly from the office, but couldn't help but eavesdrop on what he had to say. More than the context though of his words was his appearance; he looked ... like death washed over him, which was ironic and all considering where he worked.
Mysterious deaths? Well then, she was intrigued, to say the least, and simply stood motionless, waiting, rather than excusing herself from the office. It wasn't as if he requested privacy.
