Especially when Adam had shown up with such a smug expression on his face and was not sitting in the seat that should be occupying Lewis. Where was Lewis? She really wanted him to just come in here and literally sweep her off her feet and take her somewhere else.
But he wasn't. Unlike Adam, Kurumi wasn't going to run away from this. In a sense, she almost understood what Adam was trying to do right now.
