She wasn't even sure HOW this had developed into a staring contest; it wasn't like Dartanian was even worth looking at. But despite all that, Alex couldn't tear her gaze away from his, which probably had more to do with spite and stubbornness than looks. He started the stare and he was going to break it.
But what happened next just happened so quickly, Alex didn't have time to duck or anything. Rather, instead, the entire contents of one of the coffee cups, which must have just been filled, came down onto the front of her cream coloured blouse.
Not only that, but the culprit gave this ALL TOO FAKE smile, making the claim that she 'tripped'. What a bag of dragon dung.
But what was worse was that the interruption broke the staring contest and this INTRUDER seemed to take up all of Dart's attention. That she CARED, because she didn't even LIKE the guy, but really? Was it NECESSARY to RUIN a girl's blouse over a guy?
"You owe me a blouse." Alex said tartly to the woman, pulling the clingy wet fabric from her skin.
