Hearing the other Ravenclaw say something, Gwendolyn just gave a small nod, even though she didn’t really believe that her fellow house mate would indeed ask for help. And Presley probably knew that very well too. Mehh. It was the right thing to offer to help, so her job there was done. It was all up to Presley next.
‘Alright’, the fifth year mused just before the other Ravenclaw started walking away. Truth be told, she felt a bit bad for not being able to do something to at least cheer Presley up.

No-one needs to point-out that about half of the Slytherin population ate completly and utterly miserable beings." She sighed, as to her, this was true. Rora and Ariana and West and Theo and that lot... Seri rolled her eyes.
"Oh, I already knew that," Seri said knowingly and cleverly. Yeeeeah, she already knew. Only because of that other kid and stuff. Though she hadn't known her last name. Now, what year was she? She looked her up and down, but Seri didn't have an great ideas as to where she firted on the Hogwarts family tree. She had a terrible sense of age, despite having three brothers, they all seemed just about the same to her. She gave up, frowning, "So, what year are you?" Seri thought about asking if she'd had a good day, but she knew that so far, today had been totally and completly boring. Yep.
That was one thing Gwen couldn’t understand. Why didn’t she like being a Slytherin? That was the house for which the fifth year had wished for at first. Well, she soon learned to like Ravenclaw more than the other houses but still… she couldn’t figure out why Serenity wasn’t pleased with being one of the Snakes.
‘What?’, she just raised an eyebrow at the younger girl. Would she have preferred being a Hufflepuff instead?!?!
‘I don’t understand how you can dislike your house’ Slytherins were amazing. Some of Gwen’s best friends were in that house!
‘Then, what house have you hoped to get sorted into?’. She asked, thinking that she may be getting somewhere by proving to the girl that Slytherin was better. Well, unless the other house was Ravenclaw… she couldn’t find convincing reasons that the Eagles weren’t great.
After waiting for the first year to answer her question, Gwendolyn heard Serenity say something about already knowing her name. Mhm. Well, since Presley was there and just had mentioned the Ravenclaw’s name, there was no need for Gwen to ask from where the Slytherin knew about it. Mehh. Moving on.
‘Fifth’, she answered rather curtly. And now she was the one who knew something about Serenity, who was clearly a firstie.
