See the girl really didn’t make a sound, though the other Ravvie hadn't seemed to be startled by the sudden appearance of her house-mate. Could it be that Rvvies sensed each other? Considering what the girl said Cassia stroked her chin, "True it isn't a real pear it's a magical one." She said. "I just thought that maybe the spell casted on this pear needed time or something. " Like that made sense but the Snake wasn't really someone to talk about spells and such stuff. She doesn't really happen to be a very bright student though she tries to be……in vain.
And Cassia really felt like it wasn't safe talking about stuff she didn't know much of so she better change the subject in order not to look stupid. Considering this hadn't happened already. Cassia crossed her arms over her chest and started to rock on the ball of her feet if they're going to wait might as well pass the time.
"Nice to meet you Dora," The second-year grinned. Good her name was short and easy to remember. "I'm Cassia ," She answered.
"What year are you ? I'm a second year" Dora looked by Cassia's age thought Cassia didn't want to make any guesses. Whenever she did she ended up hurting someone's feelings by telling them they were older or younger. Though, Cassia never meant to bother anyone.
"Do you usually come here? To the kitchen I mean." Not the corridor of course as people come to the corridor in order to get into the kitchen ,right?
"The giggling tipped me off," She shrugged. The other girl totally wasn't trying to sneak up on them, and if so she faaaaaaaaaailed.
The pear needed time before it could open again? Hm. Dora turned her gaze to the portrait and considered it for a moment. DID it need time before opening?
"I dunno? Maybe we should try. See how fast it can swing back open or if it needs a minute. I doubt it won't swing back open immediately if it's a good spell, but we sure could try." So long as it didn't forbid them from the kitchen or something she was game.
"Yeah, you too, Cassia." She grinned though it probably wasn't nearly as wide as Cassia. This girl looked to be one of those Slytherins that could pass for a Hufflepuff if she wanted with all that niceness in her.
"Second year, yup. And I don't come here much cause it's such a long walk from the towers, but its all wet outside so I wanted to do some exploring." She'd finish studying and every other possible task that could be done in the common room, that too.
"But you pass by here all the time, right? Cause your a snake and gotta get through here to reach the rest of the castle."
