Something had happened with Selina and Kurumi, that much was sure and Gideon was distracted by it. Was it serious? Would either of them be alright? Could you tell Gideon wasn't too into the task at hand that he managed to be completely lost in one of, if not his favorite class? Sighing he realized he probably couldn't do anything anyway and either girl was capable of helping the other as well as the fact that the professor and others were around. That would mean he should probably do something then stand around and be antsy. Sigh again.
Time to set a good example and continue on despite what was happening elsewhere.
Taking a deep breath,(or one or two more) the prefect strived to get his attention back on track. Explaeris...Explaeris....Explaeris...Explaeris. Gideon repeated the incantation over and over in his head to get the feel for the word before speaking it outloud a few times as he took out his wand knowing that was the next step in the whole process: adding incantation and wand movement.
"Explaeris...Explaeris...Explaeris."
