The pump flapping was entirely and utterly DETERMINED. West's eyes were on the bottle rocket, watching the water level, watching the bottle pressure. Watching watching waaaaating andddd..... flapping.
FLAPFLAPFLA----WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!! And there it went STRAIGHT up and high. West tipped his head back, ignoring the water and watching his rocket in a successful take off.
The twelve year old was enthralled.
Now to see how well the parachute held up? Yep! He kept his eyes on it and waited for the rocket to start descending- but it was STILL SHOOTING UP!
