Mina strolled into Magical Menagerie and headed straight for the displays. Athena would not be pleased if she brought home a new pet after Mina had left her to fend for herself all those months. No, she was not going to anger her pet any more than she had already. Her only means of trying to even make amends to her pet was to spoil her more to make up for the lost time. That was exactly what had brought her to this shoppe after all. Plus, she wanted to see her friend. It had been a few months since she last saw her chocolate buddy at the Monroe wedding.

Quietly, she browsed around the displays. She really didn't have any idea what exactly she was going to get her kitten, well Athena was more of a cat now; but don't let her hear that. The little beast had way too many toys to begin with, but she did seem to tire of them easily. Perhaps some thing completely different was needed. An angry Athena was not good at all.

Happy kitty in the flat meant Mina wouldn't be scratched whilst she attempted to get things done during her day. The past few days, she had lost count of the times that Athena took her anger out on her feet and legs. If she didn't love the beast so, she would have allowed Jade to take her when she had moved out.
