Alyssa ran into her room and was glad that no one was in the room. She pulled out her trunk, removed her clothing and personal possessions from her dresser and placed them in the trunk. She had to get out. She had to leave was all she could think about. Alyssa started to get tired and her head started to hurt. The headaches were back but this time they were a lot worse. Alyssa's legs gave way from underneath her and she collapsed crying on the floor.

This was too much for her to bear. Alyssa looked at the window. She saw the sun's rays shining through the window. It looked so inviting. Alyssa managed to drag herself up and walk to the window and stood standing next to it.

She then lifted herself up onto the window ledge and sat on it.
