Well then, looked like she wouldn't be meeting any boys then. But Penelope had already made her point on it and didn't feel like repeating herself.

BUT WHY WAS SHE STILL SHOUTING?!

And then another ghost-like person entered. Peeves. Oh look, he was a boy, wasn't he? Or...he was male at least. Looked like Myrtle got a boy to visit her after all, even if it obviously wasn't who she wanted. Not that Penelope could point this out because they were constantly shouting and wouldn't give her a chance to speak. Meh.

But then Peeves spoke to her. "She was like that even before I came in," she answered loudly, since that seemed to be the only way they talked and understood anything.

And then someone else, an older Ravenclaw she vaguely recognized, walked in and, fortunately, was speaking in a normal voice. "Myrtle's having a pool party and wants boys to visit her." And then Peeves had shown up, but that much was obvious.
Nerida glanced over at Myrtle her eyebrow a bit raised. Pool party? Was that a translation for she just wanted to flood the bathrooms again?
Why does she want boys to visit her? Boys don't come to the girl's bathroom anyway.
She looked over at Peeves, did Peeves count as a boy? Or was he just considered a ghost, no longer a boy or man?
